Day #1 – Christian Summer Camping in Tulsa, Oklahoma

It has been a busy day as the Tulsa Christian summer camp director at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch Christian summer camp and retreat center! Campers have been calling asking about the awesome games we’ll be playing this summer. Kids will come from all around—Tulsa, Bartlesville, Skiatook, Claremore, Owasso, and Collinsville—to go fishing, hiking, ropes course, zip line and swimming this summer at camp. All of the kids love camping, canoeing, horseback riding, dancing, and skit night! But the best part is learning about Jesus!

The summer staff are gearing up for camp by roasting marshmallows over the campfires and singing WACKO songs! (In case you kids don’t know, WACKO stands for “wild and crazy kid-dos”!) They are so excited to be camping in Oklahoma all summer with other Christian people! They’ve been practicing their archery and basketball skills at the weekend retreats.

Speaking of weekend retreats, Shepherd’s Fold Ranch Spring Retreat is right around the corner! It’s an entire weekend of summer camp in the spring!! We will take the kids on hikes in the country and they will sleep in cabins just like camp during the summer! There will be camp fires and new games and lots of fun Christian kids to meet! Kids are signing up like crazy! Tulsa area Youth groups from churches in Tulsa, Skiatook, Bartlesville and Owasso will be visiting camp at the weekend retreat this spring.
