FA_LA_LA_LA_LA Christmas at the Fold
This past weekend Shepherd’s Fold Ranch hosted the first-ever FA_LA_LA_LA_LA Christmas at the Fold. It was a huge success! Over 200 guests attended and we celebrated with Christmas festivities for over three hours. Activities included a hayride Christmas light tour, chili cook-off by the SFR Board of Directors, family photo booth, pine cone ornament craft for the kids, Christmas caroling, show by the Silver Tops brass band, drawing for ½ off one session of summer camp 2014, SFR Christmas Blitz (Christmas Minute to Win It Games), hilarious Christmas-themed skits, and a bonfire!
All evening guests continued to express how impressed they were with the decorations and planning of the event. One attendee, who has been involved with camp for over 15 years as a camper, staff member, and now alumni, said, “This is probably the best event I have ever seen Shepherd’s Fold put on.”
A BIG Thank You goes to Hope & Dana for planning the event, Ron & Daniel for hanging all of the lights, Chris McIntire for donating all of the lights, the Shepherd’s Fold Ranch Board Members for providing delicious chili for the cook-off, numerous SFR Furnace Students who made the evening run smoothly, and Travis Sewell for driving the tractor!
